So as of today I'll be posting here regularly again, not just posting art though, now I'll be letting you all in on just about everything rattling around in this old head of mine, movies, music, games, art (of course), and school. I do however, doubt that I'll be resuming the daily drawing exercises this time around, just too much of a time commitment. Of course I'll still post art and whatnot, just more finished pieces this time around, and the occasional sketch or drawing exercise.

And there you have it, I hope you all tune in regularly and give me your opinions and advice.

Thanks and Happy New Years

-Aaron

UGH!

I blow. I know. It was supposed to be a DAILY DRAWING thing, but I couldn't keep it up. I forgot one day, put it off the next, and then it was a nasty, slippery slope. And to top things off, my trials for Photoshop and Painter have both run out lol. So no more digital art for a while, until I can buy PS (or you know, go that usual route....) I promise I'll try and get some stuff up. How about I post up two pages from my graphic novel project? Sound good? But as some of you know I've been really busy getting ready to apply to college. May not be a big deal for some, but it's been a little nerve-wrecking and problematic for me. But whatever, here's the drawing. I like how she turned out, but it looked a little bare so I added the big guy in the back. I don't know what it is that's keeping me doing them this way, but I can't stop. I really like the 'fast' feeling of drawing with calligraphy pen. I don't know, I supposed I'll start doing these drawings with something different, it'll probably still be ink though. Now, it's my first attempt at using Painter but I think it turned out fine. Of course there's plenty of room for improvement but whatever, I like it. The picture is supposed to represent a sort of oxymoron, with the character's name being 'Lucky Lucy' and her rocket breaking down on her.

I suppose I could've done more in the way of a background, but everything I tried felt out of place. I figured I might as well just let it be finished in the state where I was comfortable looking at it, and not force another element into the picture. It's been the downfall of much of my work in the past.

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy 'Lucky Lucy', and be sure to let me know if you'd like to see me start doing do a daily drawing type thing.

A proposition for you.

So, I was thinking that since I've been so busy lately, and haven't been posting new, complete art on a regular basis, how would you all like if I started doing a 'daily drawing' type thing?
