So yeah, I'm pretty tired so there isn't gonna be much explanation here. It's called 'Bombs Over Bexhill', her name is Rasha, her gun is cool ( I think so anyway).

Sweeet. Not the footwear I would pick for sniping ;)
One crit I have about the gun. The stock is awfully long and the sight is far forward. She wouldn't be able to put her eye against that with her shoulder against the butt of the gun. Just push the scope further back and it'll be cool.

The fact is that regardless of the existence of rifles with long stocks and short scopes (for example the Mechem NTW-20) It doesn't have a strong enough graphical element. The problem is that the gun doesn't read well. The long stock reads as sniper rifle. The short barrel and scope read as an assault weapon. One of the most important things when it comes to making up your own weapons is graphic design. Someone should be able to look at it and tell you what it does.
With almost everyone I've worked with on my team at school, they don't realize how important a graphic image is. If I assign something to my concept artists I would rather get a page of 20 thumbnail sillhouettes than one fully rendered drawing. I can then select which designs (or which elements) that I like and have a finished concept that I can use.
Simply put, the gun only reads as a gun. You can't tell what she's going to do with it (I mean, obviously, she's going to shoot people, but it isn't specialized enough).

Alright my bad, Thats my last one I swear. but yea as you said that maybe it's not a magazine well, well, the ejection port above it reads as mag well and ejection port. so and if it was as you said there is nothing coming out the other end.
This one is probably my favorite (of your human drawings) I really like the gun and I can tell she will be a crazy and cool character in your story, love the drawing Aaron
