Pin-upish chic.

So this sketch came after a friend suggested I try and inject a bit of finesse and grace into some of my characters. He referred me to the artist Olivia De Berardinis, who does some great paintings of pin-ups. I took his advice and did this quick sketch. I tried to make the character a little softer, but still have some emotion.

Cool. I love the playful feel and attitude, and I'm glad that you've taken my advice to heart =)

That being said, I think the biggest issue here is the anatomy and perspective. If at all possible in a complicated pose like this, try to find a model or at least reference. This is a really tricky pose to get right, and while your torso looks ok, the legs need work.

Great job keep it up.
