U.S. Army Infantryman.
So I did this just as an exercise to try and get better at doing the ACU digital cammies. For a first try I think it turned out pretty decent.

I think this one is really cool Aaron you should make this guy and the girl with the gun partners or something, or siblings, or maybe even enemies, really cool drawing I like it a lot, probly my 2nd fave (behind the chick with the gun), love it!
Awesome. yea i see what u ment with the pattern, these are more like circles, maybe nextime im over, actually i asked mark to go to dads this weekend, but ill bring my ACU top so u can See. plus those boots look "rubbery". almost like the half boot half tennis shoe some drill sergeants wore at BCT. but all in all, it's good.
Hm. It is a cool pattern for camo, but doesn't really capture that style. My suggestion if you're trying to capture something like this http://www.imsplus.com/images/acu4.jpg is that you paint a regular camo pattern in PhotoShop, make it very detailed and hi-res and then put a pixelate filter on it.
It'll take you a while to paint it out, but learning to use the PS tools speeds things up considerably. I'd also strongly recommend that you head over to thegnomonworkshop.com and check out their dvds. It's invaluable the stuff these guys know.
Aside from that, While I think your style is great, this piece has some anatomy issues. The head actually looks great. The angle is perfect and it looks dead on. The body feels really stiff though. Working more on your lines of action and your basic form and anatomy should make it more dynamic. It's also kind of tough to tell what's going on with the legs.
Just keep working on your anatomy, do lots of life drawing, and keep pumping out more great art.
I'm a twenty-something illustrator and conceptual artist. My favorite mediums are pen and ink on paper, graphite, and some digital art thrown in every now and again. I enjoy character and mechanical design.

The Weapon also looks like it's floating, maybe you went too black, cuz the shading doesn't match anything else.
Why didn't you put the scope on the carrying handle? lol.
